Languages:English and American Sign Language About Cheslee Mahan:Cheslee Mahan's practice focuses on civil litigation, bankruptcy and probate. While studying accounting on full academic scholarship at the University of Central Arkansas, Ms. Mahan led her undergraduate class, graduating summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA in her major's studies. At the Bowen School of Law, Ms. Mahan continued to lead the class, ultimately graduating 6th and clerking at such well known firms as the Rose Law Firm; Anderson, Murphy, & Hopkins; and the Barber Law Firm. Additionally, Ms. Mahan was accepted into the Bowen School of Law's Public Service Clinical Externship Program twice: first for an externship with the Eastern District of Arkansas Federal Public Defender and thereafter with Arkansas Supreme Court Associate Justice Robert L. Brown. Prior to joining the Sanford Law Firm, Ms. Mahan practiced bankruptcy and appellate law at the Nixon Law Firm in Fayetteville, AR. Presently, Ms. Mahan is a member of the Pope County, AR, and American Bar Associations, and she also serves as secretary for the Pope County Bar Association. In her free time, Ms. Mahan enjoys going to the lake; playing with Frannie, a Chihuahua, and Dixie, a Jack Russell Terrier; and spending time with her husband. |
