About Dominique King:Dominique King was born in Chicago and raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where she graduated from Jonesboro High School. She then moved to Little Rock to pursue her undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Ms. King excelled in her studies at UALR where she was a Chancellor’s Leadership Scholarship recipient, as well as a Friday Sturgis Leadership Scholar. While attending law school, she was Chair of the Moot Court Board and competed in the Annual Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition. Ms. King clerked for many law firms during law school, where she gained experience in the areas of intellectual property, contracts, civil procedure, employment law, domestic relations, and privacy law. Before joining Sanford Law Firm, Ms. King cultivated her work ethic and sharpened her analytical skills while clerking for the Honorable Morgan “Chip” Welch of the Arkansas State Circuit Court, Sixth Judicial District. There, she was exposed to the nuts and bolts of litigation through daily in-court interaction and behind the scenes analysis and preparation for a variety of probate and family law cases, including custody, guardianship, adoption divorce and child support, as well as general civil litigation. Ms. King primarily focuses her practice on employment law litigation, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, contract disputes, and employment discrimination, as well as general civil and family law litigation. |
