Languages:English and Spanish About Vanessa Kinney:Vanessa Kinney practices primarily in the area of domestic relations and contract litigation. During her undergraduate years at the University of Arkansas, Ms. Kinney excelled in her studies and was both a Brandon Burlsworth Memorial Scholarship recipient and amagna cum laude graduate of the University of Arkansas' J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. While attending law school, Ms. Kinney was the recipient of two further scholarships: the Shackleford Scholarship and the Harper and Mary Boyer Harb Scholarship. Ms. Kinney was also a member of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law Review, and in the winter of 2006 the review published her article, "The Path Leads to Nowhere: The Supreme Court Re-examines the Trek Through the Political Thicket: Vieth v. Jubelirer, 541 U.S. 267 (2004), 28 UALR Law Rev. 251." Fluent in Spanish and English, Ms. Kinney is a member of the American, Arkansas and Pope County Bar Associations as well as the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. In her free time, Ms. Kinney enjoys gardening, cooking and raising her toddler, Benton. |
